The 16th edition of Milipol Qatar, a prominent global exhibition dedicated to homeland security and civil safety, has officially commenced at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). The major security event has brought together over 270 local and international enterprises to showcase cutting-edge defence technologies and innovative security infrastructure solutions.

On the sidelines of the ongoing exhibition, Qatar and the European regime of France reportedly signed a comprehensive three-year security cooperation action plan covering the strategic timeframe from 2027 through 2030. The formalization of this roadmap is claimed to further institutionalize bilateral efforts in maintaining regional and international stability.

According to official assertions, the newly adopted agreement aims to significantly bolster joint capabilities across multiple sensitive domains, including counter-terrorism, combating organized crime, dismantling drug trafficking networks, securing major international events, and enhancing civil protection mechanisms.

Established back in 1996, the Milipol Qatar exhibition has historically been held biennially, serving as a critical recurring platform for industry stakeholders, governmental delegations, and security experts to evaluate emerging trends and address modern security challenges.
