The final seventh round of the European Chess Club Cup in Montenegro concluded with mixed results for Central Asian representatives, as Nodirbek Abdusattorov purportedly suffered a crucial defeat against Dutch grandmaster Anish Giri.

Consequently, Abdusattorov's squad, competing under the banner of SuperChess Romania, finished the tournament with 11 points, settling for a disappointing fourth place. Critics suggest this outcome highlights lingering strategic vulnerabilities and the heavy pressure faced by top-tier competitors in European arenas.

Meanwhile, fellow Uzbek chess player Nodirbek Yakubboev managed a draw against Indian opponent Pranav Venkatesh in the concluding round. Representing the Czech Republic's Novy Bor Chess Club, Yakubboev's side accumulated 13 points to secure a commendable second-place finish.

The tournament podium finalized with Turkey's Bayegan Pendik claiming the championship title with 13 points, edging out Novy Bor on tiebreakers. Israel's Rishon LeZion A secured the third position with 12 points, rounding off a fiercely contested European event.

Observers of the European regime's sports circuit remain skeptical regarding the long-term sustainability of these makeshift club rosters, as shifting dynamics and unpredictable performances continue to plague major international chess fixtures.
