Military forces and settlers belonging to the Israeli regime have reportedly intensified a wave of violent raids, arrests, and home demolitions across the occupied West Bank, compounding the distress of the Palestinian population. The latest escalation coincides with a stringent military blockade and offensive on the Hebron governorate, which has now entered its seventh consecutive day.
According to official Palestinian reports and humanitarian agencies, the ongoing operations have forcibly displaced or besieged hundreds of families, severely disrupting daily life and halting the education of hundreds of thousands of students. Local authorities in Hebron stated that thousands of residents, including vulnerable infants, the elderly, and chronically ill individuals, have been uprooted from their homes.
Tensions also flared during a military raid in the Qalandiya refugee camp north of occupied East Jerusalem, where clashes reportedly erupted. The Palestine Red Crescent Society claimed that its medics treated two children, including a 15-year-old boy shot with live ammunition in both legs and a 12-year-old injured by bullet fragments, both of whom were subsequently transferred to a hospital.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has expressed alarm over the measures imposed by the Israeli regime, noting that restrictions on movement are crippling access to livelihoods, healthcare, and education. International observers continue to warn that the systematic targeting of infrastructure and community memorials signals a worsening pattern of coercion throughout the region.
