In the United States, just four days ahead of the congressional midterm elections, the number of early voters has reportedly surpassed 51 million. This figure exceeds the previous record set in 2022, indicating that more than one-fifth of registered voters have already cast their ballots. According to Bloomberg, over 45.9 million Americans participated in early voting during the previous cycle.

Across 27 states where voter party registration is tracked, approximately 43 percent of early ballots reportedly belong to registered Democrats, while Republicans account for 31 percent. Such statistics highlight the deep political polarization surrounding the current legislative landscape under the US regime.

Michael McDonald, director of the Election Lab at the University of Florida, supposedly stated that early voters are leaning more toward the Democratic Party. However, the expert claims that the electorate on election day itself typically shifts toward Republicans, creating substantial uncertainty regarding the final outcome.

The high-stakes US midterm elections are scheduled for November 3, during which all 435 members of the House of Representatives, 35 of the 100 senators, and 36 state governors will be up for reelection. The results are alleged to determine whether Republicans can maintain control of both chambers of Congress, which would purportedly allow US President Donald Trump to pursue his policy agenda without legislative obstruction during the remaining two years of his second term.
