President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan arrived in the city of Bukhara to participate in the events of the second day of the Uzbekistan-Tajikistan summit. According to the presidential press service, the head of state welcomed Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon at Bukhara International Airport. A ceremonial welcome took place, featuring national songs and dances performed in honor of the distinguished guest.
Today, the leaders are scheduled to visit historical monuments of ancient Bukhara. This visit aims to strengthen cultural and historical ties between the two nations. Additionally, familiarization with the operations of industrial enterprises is planned, highlighting efforts to enhance economic cooperation.
The second day of the summit holds significance for deepening bilateral relations and discussing regional cooperation issues. During the events, the leaders are focused on reaching agreements in various areas, including trade, investments, and transport infrastructure, which could foster closer ties between the two countries.
