Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva held a meeting in Tashkent with First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Russia Sergey Kiriyenko, who arrived in the republic on a working visit.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed practical issues related to the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level between the leaders of the two states. The main focus was on advancing joint projects in strategically important sectors, including trade, economics, and energy.

Particular attention was paid to the IT sector, which is becoming a key vector of technological partnership between the countries. Participants in the meeting also discussed strengthening ties between the presidential administrations in the humanitarian sphere.

Joint initiatives in the field of education and the implementation of employment programs were considered, along with plans to develop youth policy aimed at creating new opportunities for self-realization of the younger generation and deepening cultural exchange.

It is recalled that earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed with Sergey Kiriyenko the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Uzbekistan. This meeting contributes to the further strengthening of strategic cooperation between the two states.
