Uzbek coach Otabek Gulyamkhodzhaev has been appointed as the head coach of Dushanbe football club CSKA, the club's press service announced.
Gulyamkhodzhaev replaces Faizali Davlatov, who left the post after a 2-3 defeat against Khosilota in the 12th round of the Tajikistan championship.
Previously, Gulyamkhodzhaev worked with the Uzbekistan youth national team and also coached Andijan, a club playing in the Super League. Now, the Uzbek specialist is tasked with leading CSKA to more stable results and competing for top positions.
This is already the third coaching change for the Dushanbe club since the start of the season.
Earlier, it was reported that an Uzbek refereeing team will officiate the France vs. Paraguay match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, with FIFA referee Ilgiz Tantachev appointed as the main referee.
