President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on July 6 held a telephone conversation with the first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, congratulating him on his birthday and wishing him good health, well-being, and long life.

Mirziyoyev emphasized Nazarbayev's significant contribution to the formation of modern Kazakhstan, the development of regional cooperation in Central Asia, as well as the strengthening of Uzbek-Kazakh relations, strategic partnership, and alliance.

During the conversation, the sides also noted the high dynamics of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, based on strong ties of friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual support.
