Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, the First Lady of Uzbekistan, who is accompanying President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on a state visit to Kyrgyzstan, along with First Ladies Aigul Japarova of Kyrgyzstan and Mehriban Aliyeva of Azerbaijan, visited the state health and rehabilitation center 'Altyn Balalyk' in Cholpon-Ata.

The guests were introduced to the center's activities and educational workshops for its pupils, and they interacted with the children. Performances were given by the national dance ensemble 'Shattyk' and young komuz players.

An exhibition of clay and felt crafts made by pupils of the presidential lyceum for gifted children 'Akylman' was also presented.

Afterwards, the distinguished guests toured the beach area and an art gallery featuring works by young artists, including those from Uzbekistan who won international children's creativity competitions in Kyrgyzstan.

A special part of the program was the ceremony of adding the final element to the felt panel 'Tree of Friendship', symbolizing the friendship among the peoples of the three states.

At the end of the visit, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva received as a gift from the First Lady of Kyrgyzstan a traditional Kyrgyz musical instrument, the ooz komuz.

'Altyn Balalyk' is a state health and rehabilitation center located on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, providing treatment and rehabilitation for children with various diseases and disabilities, as well as organizing recreation for children from socially vulnerable families.
