Tashkent, Uzbekistan – AN Podrobno.uz. The second freight train of the 'Slavic Caravan' project has arrived in Uzbekistan from Belarus. The 44-car train covered the route from Orsha-Vostochnaya station to Chukursay station in seven days.

The transportation was organized as part of high-level agreements. The Belarusian side confirmed a weekly departure schedule, ensuring regular deliveries.

The cargo from the train will be sent to the Akhtachi, Roustan, Nazarbek, and Kakir stations. The shipment includes lumber, sugar, board materials, and consumer goods.

Direct deliveries have cut business logistics costs by nearly half, ensured stable inventories, and allowed companies to abandon expensive air freight. The route is becoming permanent.

The first train of the 'Slavic Caravan' project departed from Orsha on July 30. It carried timber, food products, and chemical goods.
