Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. New flights from Tatarstan to cities in Uzbekistan will be launched in late August and early September, allowing passengers to fly directly from Kazan to Samarkand and Namangan.

The first route will operate from August 26, with flights from Kazan to Samarkand. From September 5, Namangan will be added. The flights will be operated by Nordwind Airlines.

The airline noted the growing interest of Russian tourists in Uzbekistan. After launching regular flights from Kazan to Tashkent, the carrier decided to expand its route network and add two more Uzbek cities.

Passengers from Moscow and St. Petersburg will also be able to reach Samarkand and Namangan with a transfer at Kazan's Gabdulla Tukay Airport. This provides additional convenience for travelers from these cities, as they can now reach Uzbekistan via Kazan without waiting for direct flights.

Recall that since July, Nordwind Airlines has been operating direct flights to Tashkent from Kazan Airport twice a week. Several other airlines also operate on this route. Additionally, Uzbekistan Airways flies from the capital of Tatarstan to Samarkand and Fergana.
