In the Almaty region of Kazakhstan, a 35-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan was fatally stabbed in the village of Aktas, where he worked as a bread seller in a local tandyr bakery.

According to local media, the man had been working at the bakery for the past five years and was well-regarded in the community. Residents described him as peaceful and generous, noting that he would give away bread for free every Friday.

The incident began as a verbal altercation between the seller and a group of customers, which quickly escalated into a physical fight. During the brawl, one of the customers, a 56-year-old man, pulled out a knife and delivered a fatal blow to the Uzbek national.

Police apprehended the suspect shortly after the attack and placed him in a temporary detention facility. Yernar Saydildin, a representative of the regional police department, confirmed that the suspect has confessed to the crime.

A criminal case has been opened on charges of murder. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine all circumstances surrounding the tragic event. The local community has been left in shock, and condolences have been extended to the victim's family.
