Uzbekistan's national boxing team delivered an impressive performance at the international Eurasian Dauria Cup held in Chita, Russia, securing three gold medals and one silver. The results underscore the country's growing prowess in amateur boxing, as reported by AN Podrobno.uz.

The standout athletes of the tournament were Bekkhon Abdullaev, Umarkhon Mirzakhanov, and Sarvar Mirzakulov, who claimed gold in the 75 kg, 81 kg, and 92 kg weight categories, respectively. Their victories add to Uzbekistan's reputation as a rising force in international boxing.

Another medal—a silver—was brought to the team by Abdullokh Abdullaev. Competing in the 60 kg division, he advanced to the final but had to settle for second place after a tough decisive bout. Despite the loss, his achievement contributed significantly to the team's overall success.

On their path to the podium, the Uzbek boxers faced strong opposition from athletes representing Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and other countries. The Eurasian Dauria Cup was held in Chita as part of sports cooperation between nations.

Earlier, it was reported that five boxers listed under Uzbekistan by the statistical portal BoxRec had entered the world's top 10 amateur boxers regardless of weight class. The ranking was topped by Olympic champion Abdumalik Khalokov.
