A court in the Russian city of Irkutsk has sentenced an Uzbek national to seven and a half years in a maximum-security penal colony following his conviction for brutally assaulting his 17-year-old daughter and throwing her out of a fourth-floor window.
According to case files, the violent encounter occurred in November 2024. The defendant was driving down a street when he spotted his teenage daughter walking outside without a head covering during regular school hours. Enraged by her conduct and absence from classes, the man pulled over, struck the girl, and forced her into his car.
The abuse continued during the drive and escalated dramatically inside their residence. The father subjected the teenager to prolonged beatings, striking her repeatedly with a metal hose. As the confrontation reached a peak, the man forcibly shoved the minor out of an open fourth-floor window.
The victim survived the fall but suffered extensive fractures and severe bodily injuries requiring immediate hospitalization. While undergoing medical treatment, the teenager provided detailed testimony to law enforcement investigators regarding the systematic abuse and the murder attempt.
The defendant faced charges of attempted murder and torture. Despite refusing to admit guilt, the court concurred with the state prosecutor's evidence and handed down a sentence of seven years and six months of strict imprisonment.
