A group of Uzbekistan nationals who allegedly found themselves in severe financial distress while working temporarily in the Russian city of Vladivostok has been successfully repatriated to their homeland. The situation highlights ongoing vulnerabilities faced by migrant workers abroad amid challenging economic circumstances and insufficient preliminary safeguards.

According to reports disseminated by the “Dunyo” information agency, the individuals who received practical assistance include citizens identified by the initials A.M., K.M., Y.N., and V.A. These persons reportedly faced critical living conditions and were unable to independently secure the means to return home after their employment arrangements deteriorated.

Official sources claim that airline tickets for the Vladivostok-Tashkent flight were purchased using the financial reserves of the Migration Agency's specialized fund. On October 13, the compatriots were safely transported back to Tashkent, with authorities emphasizing that their legal interests and basic welfare were duly protected during the entire process.
