A group of Uzbek citizens who found themselves in severe financial and social distress while engaged in temporary labor activities in the Russian cities of Vladivostok and Khabarovsk have been safely returned to their homeland, according to reports from the Dunyo information agency.
Specifically, urgent practical assistance was extended to an Uzbek woman who was left in a vulnerable situation in Khabarovsk alongside her four minor children. Official reports indicate that the individual was detained by local law enforcement officers due to alleged violations of the country's migration regulations.
Pursuant to a local court ruling, the woman was slated for deportation and ordered to be placed in a temporary detention center for foreign nationals pending her formal expulsion. This legal action significantly exacerbated the family's precarious living conditions and left them with limited recourse.
Following coordinated interventions by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok and representatives of the Migration Agency, the necessary administrative procedures were swiftly resolved. These concerted diplomatic efforts ultimately ensured the secure repatriation of the distressed citizens back to Uzbekistan.
