Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov participated in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on March 7. The meeting was organized by Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, with Saidov expressing gratitude for the timely arrangement and emphasizing the importance of strengthening unity in the Turkic world amid contemporary challenges.

Discussions primarily focused on growing threats to regional and global security. Participants debated the need for close coordination and enhanced solidarity among member states. Bakhtiyor Saidov noted that Uzbekistan advocates for deepening practical cooperation within the organization, promoting key initiatives aimed at ensuring stability, developing interconnectivity, and sustainable economic growth.

During an informal meeting of OTS foreign ministers, Bakhtiyor Saidov was received by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Additionally, the Uzbek Foreign Minister held bilateral talks with Hakan Fidan. The sides exchanged views on the escalating situation in the Middle East and discussed potential regional consequences of the conflict, reaffirming their commitment to peaceful crisis resolution.
