In the Samarkand Region of Uzbekistan, a 'Theater Week' has been announced to coincide with the Navruz holiday celebrations, running from March 21 to March 27. During this event, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to attend performances by several theaters free of charge, aimed at enhancing cultural engagement during the festive period.

The program features productions for all tastes and ages, ranging from puppet shows for young children to musical-dramatic performances and theatrical concerts. The Samarkand Regional Music and Drama Theater has prepared a rich schedule of seven productions, including 'The Emperor's New Clothes', 'Cinderella', 'The Town Musicians of Bremen', the concert 'Harmony of Feelings', as well as plays 'Behbudiy' and 'Swan Song'.

The Samarkand Regional Puppet Theater will create a special atmosphere by showcasing five children's performances in Russian and Uzbek from March 23 to 27. Young audiences can look forward to shows such as 'Super Rabbit', 'Tram, Salom!', 'Qo'chqor Botir', and others. The Regional Russian Drama Theater will also present its productions, including children's plays 'My Friend the Sun', 'Rooster in Galoshes', and 'The Princess and the Dragon'.

Additionally, festive screenings will take place at the Kattakurgan City Theater, where viewers will be offered classical and contemporary productions. All performances within the 'Theater Week' framework are free, facilitating access to cultural events and enriching the region's cultural life during the Navruz celebrations.
