Northern and valley regions of Uzbekistan are forecast to experience anomalously hot weather this week. According to data from "Uzgidromet" and international meteorological centers, starting from Tuesday, temperatures in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm region, Kyzylkum Desert, and other areas may rise 8 degrees above normal, reaching up to +30°C or higher during the day. These conditions are typical for mid-April, while in the north, they resemble late April weather.

Little to no precipitation is expected throughout the week, with only brief thunderstorms possible on March 26 in northern, Bukhara, Navoi regions, and mountainous areas. Hail is likely in mountainous zones. Rainfall is primarily forecast for the Bukhara deserts, parts of Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya regions, and eastern districts of Andijan, but its intensity will be low.

Heatwaves entering from Turkmenistan will cause further temperature increases by mid-week. Nighttime temperatures are also set to gradually rise, expected to range between +10…+15°C. Strong winds are possible in desert areas, and on March 28, wind speeds may reach up to 20 meters per second in many regions, potentially leading to dust storms and worsened air pollution.

High temperatures and increased humidity could adversely affect individuals with chronic oxygen deficiency, arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, respiratory, and pulmonary conditions. From March 25-27, daytime reductions in oxygen levels and drops in atmospheric pressure may cause headaches and general fatigue. It is recommended to consult a doctor, perform breathing exercises, take cold water treatments, and use medications that regulate cardiovascular activity.

Bioclimatic conditions across most of the republic are expected to be comfortable at night and in the morning, but valley, northern, and southern regions may experience discomfort during the day due to high heat. Light clothing can be worn by mid-week, as evening and nighttime temperatures will remain relatively high. On Friday, residents of valley and northern areas might face heat stress.

Regarding cosmic influences, magnetic storms at red risk levels were observed late last week and on Monday, but international geophysical centers have not indicated strong disturbances in the coming days. The Ionosphere Institute in Kazakhstan has noted possible geomagnetic storms at "green" risk levels on weekdays. People sensitive to magnetic storms are advised to plan based on two-day forecasts.
