In Tashkent, a group of young people who drove a Gentra car through the city without state license plates and with installed emergency lights has been held administratively liable. The court sentenced two participants to 5 days of administrative arrest each, fined a third 1.2 million soums, and fined the car owner 2.06 million soums for handing over the wheel to individuals without proper documents.

According to information from the head of the press service of the Traffic Safety Department, Zoir Yuldoshev, the identities of the violators were established by search department officers using surveillance cameras and witness testimonies. It was revealed that the youths intentionally removed the state license plates and installed "flashing lights," hoping this would help them remain unidentified.

During the court proceedings, it was also confirmed that the drivers lacked certificates for the right to operate vehicles. The actions of the young people were classified under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, "Petty Hooliganism," and the car has currently been placed in an impound lot.

This incident once again highlights issues related to traffic rule violations and the illegal installation of emergency lights in Tashkent. Representatives of the Traffic Safety Department continue to strengthen control over such cases and call on citizens to comply with the law.
