Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the administration of Mirzo-Ulugbek district on April 23, where he reviewed the implementation of a new digital management and public security system.
During the visit, the head of state inspected the landscaped area near the administration building, including a new bridge over the Salar canal, and planted a tree. He was also shown renovated administrative premises, including an office and a service car recreated to resemble the period of the 1990s when he himself headed the district. The president shared memories of his work and noted the changes that have taken place since then.
The key innovation was the launch of a situational center with the 'Smart District' platform based on artificial intelligence technologies. Previously, about 30 different services—from utilities to law enforcement—worked separately, complicating the resolution of residents' problems. Now all processes are integrated into a single system.
The platform allows real-time tracking of citizen appeals, monitoring of utility and social issues, and coordination of emergency services. Online communication ensures constant interaction with representatives of mahallas (neighborhood committees).
The system also integrates individual digital solutions. 'Safe District' helps track offenses and enhance public security, a digital business map forecasts tax revenues, and the AI Davomat system helps prevent unjustified school absences and neglect of minors.
Similar platforms are already operating in Chilanzar, Shaykhantakhur, and Almazar districts of the capital. Following the visit, the president ordered the experience to be extended to all districts of Tashkent and instructed regional leaders and security agencies to study the implemented model.
