During the latest court hearing in the case of Sanjar Karimov (known as Real Sanjik), officers from the operational department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate (GUVD) who conducted a search at his home were interrogated, Kun.uz correspondent reports.

It emerged that one of the officers secretly removed an item belonging to Karimov from his home and placed it in his car. When Karimov was being taken for a narcological examination, he recognized the item.

In court, the officer admitted to the fact, claiming he was “playing with it in his hands and accidentally took it out.” Karimov asked him: “How do you explain that on the way to the narcology clinic I saw an item with my brand in your car?”

“Yes, I forgot, honestly. It was a keychain. I was really playing with it and took it out. We were driving together to the narcology clinic. I asked if you minded if I kept it. You answered ‘I agree’,” the officer explained.

Karimov stated that he had expensive watches and expressed doubt that all of them remained in place. “Can you guarantee that all valuable items remained there and no one touched them?” he asked the GUVD officer.

The officer replied that he could only answer for the item he himself took.
