The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has developed and submitted for public discussion a draft regulatory act aimed at legalizing and simplifying the market for tourist dacha rentals. The new rules are designed to bring this sector out of the shadows and create transparent conditions for both landlords and vacationers.
According to the proposed document, the procedure for registering tourist dachas will be as simple as possible and will not require additional licenses or permits. Additionally, owners of such properties are planned to be exempted from paying the tourist fee. The entire data exchange process will be automated through digital services, completely eliminating paperwork.
To ensure pricing transparency, a unified online platform will be created where citizens can see real market prices for rental housing. An important innovation will be a system of material incentives for reporting illegal rental of housing: individuals who report violations are planned to receive a reward of up to 30 percent of the collected fine amount.
The main goal of the Tax Committee's initiative is to create a comfortable environment for honest entrepreneurs and ensure the safety of tourists. The committee emphasized that the project is open for suggestions and amendments from the public on the portal for discussing draft regulatory acts.
