The city administration of Tashkent has announced plans to construct 10 new multi-story residential buildings by 2025. The press service of the city hall released the information.

The project will include over 500 apartments, as well as social infrastructure facilities such as schools, kindergartens, and shopping centers.

Construction will primarily take place in the outskirts of the city. According to the administration, this will help improve the housing provision for the population.

However, experts warn about potential negative impacts on the environment and traffic conditions. The city already experiences congestion and air pollution.

The administration promises to take measures to address these issues, including environmental monitoring and improvements to road infrastructure.
