Mobiuz has unveiled MobiKids, a new digital platform designed for children aged 2 to 12. The service combines safe, educational content in a controlled environment.
Uzbekistan is one of the world's youngest nations, with about a third of its population under 14. Internet users have surpassed 32.7 million, and children are gaining access to smartphones at increasingly early ages, often without parental supervision.
MobiKids aims to address this challenge by providing a secure, structured space where parents can be confident about what their children see. The platform integrates educational apps, cartoons, fairy tales, games, and AI-generated materials.
Content is tailored to three age groups: toddlers and preschoolers (2–5), primary school children (6–9), and preteens (10–12). Toddlers get simple cartoons, fairy tales, and lullabies with large buttons and minimal text.
Children aged 6–9 can use the Todly learning app, featuring interactive books and quizzes that reinforce knowledge through play. For ages 10–12, there are HTML5 and Android games, themed contests with prizes, and the Shamaze app, which uses AI to create personalized fairy tales that can be narrated with parents' voices.
A special version, Shamaze UZ, is adapted for the Uzbek market. The use of AI in content creation makes MobiKids one of the first children's services in Central Asia with such functionality.
Basic access is free for all Mobiuz subscribers, with no registration or app download required. A premium subscription, unlocking the full content library, costs 2,400 UZS per day. If the balance is insufficient, 800 UZS is deducted for limited access to games, cartoons, and audio.
Subscriptions can be activated via the mobikids.uz website, by sending an SMS with the word START to 0707, or by dialing the USSD code *0707#. More information is available at www.mobi.uz and mobikids.uz.
