The government of Uzbekistan has approved an administrative regulation for electronic requests to retrieve vehicles from impound lots, according to a recent resolution.

The authorized body for this service is the Road Safety Service of the Department of Public Security under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with its regional divisions.

The state service is available through the Unified Portal of Interactive State Services (my.gov.uz), the Road Safety Service mobile application, and state service centers.

When applying via my.gov.uz or the mobile app, the applicant fills out an electronic form. The accuracy of the data is verified by an automated system.

During the review process, the authorized body checks whether the reasons for impounding the vehicle and the grounds for its detention have been eliminated, and whether the administrative offense case has been reviewed and a lawful decision made.

Based on the review results, a notification about the possibility of retrieving the vehicle from the impound lot is sent within one business day via my.gov.uz or the mobile app.
