Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. Starting May 3, the high-speed electric train 'Jaloliddin Manguberdi' will begin service on the 'Tashkent – Khiva – Tashkent' route. The new service aims to provide comfortable and fast connections between the capital and the ancient city, boosting tourism and travel opportunities.

The train will operate three times a week in each direction: 'Tashkent – Khiva': departure at 07:00, arrival at 14:31 (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays). 'Khiva – Tashkent': departure at 07:20, arrival at 14:51 (Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays).

The first departure from Tashkent is scheduled for May 3, and from Khiva on May 4. Ticket prices start from 780,000 UZS one way. Tickets can be purchased at railway stations or online via the eticket.railway.uz portal.

Earlier, the 'Uzbekiston Temir Yollari' maintenance center launched a new workshop dedicated to servicing the high-speed electric trains named after Jaloliddin Manguberdi, which were manufactured by South Korea's Hyundai Rotem specifically for Uzbekistan.
