Construction of several new multi-story residential complexes has begun in Tashkent to meet the housing needs of the population. Under the project, more than 50,000 apartments are planned to be commissioned by the end of 2024.
Construction work is underway in the Sergeli, Mirzo Ulugbek, and Yashnobod districts of the city. Each district is expected to see at least 10,000 apartments built. The project is being implemented on a public-private partnership basis.
According to the city administration, the new homes will be equipped with modern infrastructure, parks, and playgrounds. Parking lots and shopping centers are also planned for each complex.
Project leaders announced that a special commission has been established to monitor construction quality. A dedicated portal has been launched to collect residents' complaints and suggestions.
