A video of a fire at an industrial facility in the Tashkent region spread on social media in the morning, showing a 130-ton BelAZ mining dump truck engulfed in flames.

The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) confirmed the incident, specifying that it occurred on April 5 at around 06:15. The fire started in the engine compartment of a BelAZ-75131 dump truck assigned to transport shop No. 3.

The cause was a short circuit in the electrical wiring. The driver was not injured. The fire was quickly extinguished by the voluntary fire brigade of the technological transport department.

An internal investigation was conducted, and appropriate measures were taken against responsible individuals.
