In the "Bahrin" neighborhood of Urgut district, Family Clinic No. 21, which had not seen repairs for over half a century, has been completely reconstructed following the personal intervention of the country's leadership. The situation at the facility, serving 13,000 residents, changed dramatically after a visit by Presidential Administration head Saida Mirziyoyeva in December 2025.

The building, constructed in 1972, remained the only medical facility for residents of 16 surrounding villages for 50 years. Over decades without major repairs, working conditions for doctors and patient reception became critical: physicians had to provide care in rooms with damp walls and leaking roofs.

By order of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a modern complex was built on the site of the dilapidated building. Today, a fully renovated facility operates there. The large-scale reconstruction not only restored the main building but also significantly expanded the clinic's capabilities. A new maternity ward with 20 beds was opened, a vital upgrade for the local community.

Now, medical services for thousands of people are available in bright and comfortable premises. This transformation in the "Bahrin" neighborhood demonstrates how attention to local needs changes the face of remote areas, providing residents with quality healthcare and care for their health.
