A disturbing case of animal cruelty has emerged in the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan, where a 30-year-old man was filmed lifting a donkey and throwing it forcefully to the ground, allegedly to create content for social media.

The video quickly spread online, sparking widespread outrage among users. The footage shows the man, a Nexia car owner, causing apparent pain and potential injury to the animal.

Social media users condemned the act, stating that cruelty to animals for views, likes, and popularity is unacceptable from both moral and legal standpoints.

Particular concern has been raised about the public display of such violence, which could normalize brutality, especially among younger audiences.

The public is calling on the Jizzakh Regional Ecology Department and law enforcement agencies to provide a legal assessment of the man's actions and take appropriate measures under the law.

This incident follows a previous case in the same region where a driver tied a donkey to a car and dragged it along the asphalt, leading to criminal charges.
