On February 24, the first international bus service on the Tashkent-Dushanbe route was launched. This was reported by the official Telegram channel of Tashkent Bus Station.
It is noted that this is the first state-operated bus on this route. Services are currently scheduled twice a week — on Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:00 PM from Tashkent. Return trips from Dushanbe to Tashkent are scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 1:00 PM.
The buses depart from Tashkent Bus Station and travel via the Sariosiyo district of Surkhandarya region to Dushanbe Central Bus Station. The journey duration is approximately 15–17 hours.
Passengers are transported in sleeper buses with a high level of comfort. The ticket price is set at 315,000 Uzbek soums.
It is emphasized that each passenger must have a foreign passport for border crossing. In the future, additional services may be introduced based on passenger demand.
Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of Tashkent Bus Station, through the UzBus mobile app, and online at avtoticket.uz.
It is recalled that from February 23, a bus service on the Tashkent — Saint Petersburg — Tashkent route was launched. Services operate twice a week — on Mondays and Fridays. Buses depart from Tashkent and Saint Petersburg at 5:00 PM, with a planned stop in Moscow. The ticket price is 1.2 million Uzbek soums.
