Who: Barcelona vs Villarreal
What: La Liga
Where: Camp Nou, Barcelona, Spain
When: Saturday, February 28 at 4:15pm (15:15 GMT)
How to follow: Live text commentary on Al Jazeera Sport from 12:30 GMT.

Barcelona host high-flying Villarreal at Camp Nou, with the hosts aiming to tighten their grip on top spot in La Liga.

A win would provisionally move Barcelona four points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, who play Getafe on Monday.

Barcelona had a dip in form earlier this month, losing 4-0 to Atletico Madrid and 2-1 to Girona, allowing Madrid to briefly lead the table. They bounced back with a 3-0 win over Levante last weekend.

Third-placed Villarreal trail Barcelona by 10 points. A surprise victory at Camp Nou could rekindle their title hopes.

The visitors are confident after beating Valencia 2-1 and winning three of their last four La Liga matches. Villarreal have won their last two away games against Barcelona.

Barcelona have concerns over the form of strikers Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres. Lewandowski (age 37) has faced decline and fitness issues, while Torres (25) has only three goals in his last 15 appearances.

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick emphasized the benefit of a rest period ahead of the match. Villarreal defender Santiago Mourino stated his team plans to exploit Barcelona's high defensive line.

Barcelona and Villarreal have met 57 times: Barcelona won 35, Villarreal won 12, and 10 matches ended in draws.
