A tragic accident occurred in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent on July 1 at around 6:00 PM, when a Tracker car struck a 6-year-old boy, causing his death at the scene. The incident was reported by the Millar program on the national television channel.

The accident took place on Choldarakht Street. Video footage shows the child running onto the road from behind a parked Cobalt. He noticed the approaching car and tried to flee, but the driver continued moving, hitting the boy. The vehicle ran over him with both its front and rear wheels.

The boy's father accused the driver of negligence: "A woman was behind the wheel. She wasn't looking. The child came out, took four steps, and tried to run away. I am a driver myself. If someone is looking at the road, they either brake or steer to the right. She, without looking, drove straight over him. She ran over him with both wheels."

The boy died instantly from his injuries. When he was taken to the hospital, nurses confirmed he had already passed away.

Local residents noted that there is no playground in the area, forcing children to play on the street. "Children always play on this street. There is no playground at all. There used to be an empty lot, but construction started there, and the playground was never built. There is no playground nearby," one resident said.

Nilufar Madiyeva, head of the information service of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department, stated that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 266, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic safety or vehicle operation rules resulting in death). Investigative actions are currently underway.
