Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. A fire broke out at a retail outlet in the Mirabad district of Tashkent overnight. The alarm about the grocery store on Amir Temur Street was reported to the duty service on March 1 at 02:00.

Thanks to the prompt actions of the Emergency Situations Department staff, major consequences were avoided. Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 02:06. Localization and complete extinguishing of the open flames took only two minutes – by 02:08, the fire was fully extinguished.

According to official data, no one was injured as a result of the incident. The fire damaged the interior decoration and some goods, but the exact amount of material damage has yet to be determined.

Specialists are currently investigating the causes of the fire.
