In Uzbekistan, during anti-drug operations in January-February 2026, the activities of 22 organized drug trafficking groups were halted. Five leaders and 84 members were apprehended.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, eight clandestine drug laboratories were uncovered in two months, with three producing psychotropic substances and five manufacturing synthetic narcotics.

Seized substances include 41 kg of traditional narcotics, over 100 kg of synthetic drugs, 200,000 doses of psychotropic medications, and nearly 2 tons of precursors.

The groups operated in Tashkent, Namangan, Andijan, Samarkand, and Syrdarya regions. Drugs were smuggled into the country from Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

The Ministry urged citizens to report suspicious activities via the Telegram bot @stopnarko_bot or hotlines 71−231−55−54 and 71−231−55−00.
