Sherzodxon Qudratxo‘ja has been dismissed from his position as Chairman of the National Media Association of Uzbekistan. The association's press service officially announced this development. The specific reasons for Qudratxo‘ja's removal have not been disclosed, suggesting potential internal reorganizations or new directions in media management within the country.

He has been replaced by Odiljon Tojiyev, who has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board. Tojiyev was born on September 11, 1984, in Tashkent and graduated from Tashkent Islamic University in 2006 with a specialization in law. He brings extensive experience, having previously served as Deputy Governor of Tashkent Region, a deputy in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber for digital development and information policy.

Currently, Odiljon Tojiyev is a member of the Committee on Labor, Healthcare, and Social Issues in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan. His appointment to this new role may herald shifts in media policy or governance approaches, but the precise implications of this leadership change and its impact on Uzbekistan's media landscape remain uncertain at this time.
