In the Sergeli district of Tashkent, a Mercedes-Benz driver has been subjected to administrative liability for using an illegally installed special siren and engaging in reckless driving. The incident occurred overnight on March 8-9, with the man speeding through city streets with a flashing light activated, blatantly violating traffic rules.

The violation was detected by a monitoring group from the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent Main Internal Affairs Directorate during a check of social media. The driver himself had posted a video of the dangerous driving on his Instagram page. The vehicle was impounded and placed in a penalty parking lot.

After identifying the car owner, he was summoned to the directorate for investigation. An administrative protocol was drawn up against him. The driver admitted his guilt, apologized to road users, and expressed remorse.

He also urged other citizens to avoid similar violations, emphasizing the inevitability of punishment for non-compliance with the law. This case highlights the role of social media monitoring in enforcing traffic safety measures in urban areas.
