A sharp change in weather is expected in Uzbekistan in the coming days. Initially, precipitation and stronger winds are forecast across the republic, with possible frosts at night. By the end of the week, air temperatures are set to rise, reaching 10–15 degrees Celsius above zero.
Today during the day, the invasion of cold and humid air masses will continue over the country's territory. In some areas, precipitation in the form of rain and snow is anticipated, although no precipitation is forecast for the northwestern regions. Air temperatures will range from 0 to 3 degrees Celsius above zero, while in the north, they may drop to 2 to 5 degrees below zero.
Tomorrow, precipitation will cease across most of the territory. At night, temperatures will fall to 1-3 degrees below zero, locally down to 5 degrees below zero, with daytime temperatures expected to be between 0 and 5 degrees above zero. In the north, nighttime temperatures will be 7-10 degrees below zero, with daytime temperatures from 0 to 5 degrees above zero. In certain districts, strong winds of up to 13–18 meters per second are possible, with gusts in the Fergana Valley potentially reaching 22–25 meters per second.
On March 10–11, mudflow and flood phenomena are forecast in foothill and mountainous areas, with avalanche danger persisting in the mountains.
On the night of March 12, frosts will continue, but during the day, the cold air mass will begin to retreat. By the end of the work week, the air will warm up to 10-15 degrees above zero. No precipitation is expected, but fog may occur in some places at night and in the morning.
In Tashkent, today during the day, intermittent precipitation in the form of rain and snow is expected, with temperatures at 2-4 degrees above zero. In the coming night, light precipitation is possible, with no precipitation during the day; nighttime temperatures will be 1-3 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures 2-4 degrees above zero. On March 12–13, no precipitation is forecast, with nighttime temperatures at 0-2 degrees below zero and a gradual daytime increase to 11-13 degrees above zero. The wind will be north-easterly, from weak to moderate.
