Despite the calendar spring, a true winter has descended upon the Yukori Tuplang National Nature Park in Uzbekistan's Surkhandarya region. Snow has fallen again in the mountains, with air temperatures dropping to 6-7 degrees Celsius below zero, transforming the reserve into a winter fairy tale.

According to the Surkhandarya Regional Ecology Department, a cold air mass entering the country's territory has caused snowfall in mountainous and foothill areas. As a result, the landscape has once again been blanketed in white snow.

The territory of the Yukori Tuplang National Park looks particularly picturesque these days, where unique mountain landscapes have become even more beautiful thanks to the fresh snow.

Specialists note that such weather conditions vividly demonstrate the climatic and natural process characteristics typical for the mountainous regions of the area.

It is worth recalling that the winter of 2025–2026 across most of Uzbekistan, except for the northwestern regions, was the warmest in the entire period of meteorological observations.
