Ahead of the Navruz celebrations, a series of discounts have been announced for residents and visitors to Uzbekistan on access to cultural sites and tourism services. The initiative aims to make the holiday period more accessible and engaging.

At holy sites (ziyoratgohs) affiliated with the charitable foundation “Vaqf,” a 10% discount will be applied to entry tickets from the established price. State museums and cultural heritage sites have been recommended to ensure open operations during the holiday days and to provide discounts on admission tickets.

Entrepreneurs in the tourism sector are voluntarily offering discounts of up to 20% on accommodation in hotels, guesthouses, and other lodging facilities. This creates favorable conditions for both local residents and foreign tourists, allowing them to spend Navruz in various regions of the country and explore Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage.

Special attention is given to theatrical performances. From March 21 to 27, state theaters in Karakalpakstan, regions, and Tashkent will host a “Week of Theatrical Performances.” Art enthusiasts will be able to attend shows for free by obtaining invitation tickets at box offices.

Previously, Uzbekistan approved a program for the preparation and celebration of Navruz.
