The football club Neftchi from Fergana has won the Uzbekistan Super Cup for the first time in its history. In a historic final at the Bobur Arena stadium in Andijan, Neftchi narrowly defeated the capital's Pakhtakor with a score of 1:0.

The only goal of the match was scored in the 17th minute by midfielder Jurani Ferreira (Ratinho). Despite an even struggle in the second half, the team under coach Islom Ismoilov managed to maintain their advantage and write a new page in the club's history.

Social media is actively discussing a controversial episode in the second half: fans insist that the ball clearly hit the hand of a Fergana player in the penalty area, but the referee did not award a penalty against the future champions.

For Pakhtakor, this defeat marks their sixth loss in eight Super Cup finals, while the Fergana team celebrates its debut success in the tournament. Recall that last season, the title was won by the Qarshi-based club Nasaf.
