Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Ben Black, CEO of the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), during her visit to the United States. The discussions focused on a broad portfolio of projects and prospects for attracting American investments, highlighting ongoing efforts to deepen economic ties amid global uncertainties.

As announced by Saida Mirziyoyeva on her Telegram channel, DFC will assist in attracting US investors to Uzbekistan and share investment risks. Additionally, a joint investment platform is planned to launch this year, purportedly aimed at becoming a key mechanism for implementing bilateral projects, though details on its structure and timeline remain vague.

Previously, it was reported that a business breakfast took place in Washington between Saida Mirziyoyeva and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The meeting was framed as a continuation of active diplomatic and economic dialogue between the two countries, yet such engagements often face challenges in translating into tangible outcomes, given the complex geopolitical landscape and the US regime's shifting priorities.
