President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Bukhara to review the construction progress at the region's new administrative center. This complex extends a practice of integrating government agencies, previously tested in the Qoʻqdaryo district of Kashkadarya region, where 38 state institutions were consolidated in one location, providing significant convenience for residents. Citizens who previously had to travel long distances to access various offices now have the opportunity to resolve all matters in a single, nearby, and convenient place.

During a trip to Qoʻqdaryo last year, the President emphasized that this approach should serve as a model for all districts. Since then, based on this experience, construction has commenced in other regions. The administrative center in Bukhara covers 14 hectares and, in its initial phase, houses the regional and city hokimiyats (administrations), regional prosecutor's office, internal affairs department, and other agencies. This aims to enhance coordination among local executive authorities, expedite the processing of appeals, and improve the quality of public services.

The complex is not limited to administrative buildings; it includes the creation of alleys, fountains, and green spaces for recreational use by residents and visitors. The President inspected the work at the new regional hokimiyat building and stressed the need to consistently continue efforts to unify state bodies into integrated administrative centers, thereby creating conveniences for people and ensuring access to necessary services in one location without the need to travel to multiple addresses.

Additionally, information was presented to the head of state regarding ongoing work on the socio-economic development of the area and the creation of more favorable conditions for the population. Opportunities were highlighted for developing 15,000 hectares of land, establishing 500 hectares of new vineyards, expanding enotourism, and implementing new projects in the oil and gas, chemical, construction, and food industries. Analysis indicates that between 2026 and 2031, projects worth 7.4 trillion soums could be realized in these sectors, creating 15,000 new jobs.
