Uzbek citizens residing or temporarily staying abroad can now book appointments at Uzbekistan's embassies or consulates through the Unified Interactive Portal of State Services (my.gov.uz). This announcement was made by the portal's press service, highlighting an effort to streamline citizen interactions with diplomatic missions overseas.

The registration process involves selecting the "Embassy (Consulate) Appointment Booking" service, specifying the required consular district and service type, then choosing a convenient available date and time from the calendar, and obtaining an electronic queue ticket. The service is provided free of charge, but users must log in (new users need to register).

The types of services offered by diplomatic missions in different countries may vary, reflecting a tailored approach to citizen needs. If a citizen fails to attend the appointment at the scheduled time, the appointment will be handled through general procedures or by rescheduling, but the assigned time cannot be transferred to another person, ensuring system security and order.
