An under-construction five-story building is being forcibly demolished in the Kuyichirchik district of Tashkent region. The drastic measures were taken due to severe violations of construction norms and the entrepreneur's disregard for directives from regulatory authorities.

As reported by the "Millar" information program, specialists from the Tashkent region's construction and housing inspection identified a series of critical deficiencies during checks at the early stages of work. Specifically, experts determined that the building's foundation was laid in violation of technological standards and does not meet safety requirements.

Despite the developer being issued repeated written instructions and administrative demands to correct the errors, the entrepreneur ignored the warnings. Instead of addressing the foundation defects, he continued constructing floors on the unstable structure, creating a real threat of future collapse.

Consequently, the authorities officially blocked construction and installation work at the site through an electronic platform. Based on the formalized documents, a decision was made to fully dismantle the structure. Demolition work is currently underway at the site.

It is worth noting that over the past nine years, the volume of construction work in Uzbekistan has increased more than tenfold—from 30 trillion to 314 trillion soums.
