Uzbekistan's national team has secured its first gold medal at the 6th Asian Beach Games in China. In beach athletics, Barnokhon Sayfullaeva emerged victorious in the women's high jump.

The Uzbek athlete cleared the bar at 1.85 meters, ensuring a confident win. This award marks the first gold medal for the Uzbek team at the current Games.

Chinese competitors, who achieved a result of 1.83 meters, took the second and third places.

Earlier, at the continental road cycling championship in Saudi Arabia, the Uzbekistan team demonstrated one of the best results in its history. Our athletes managed to win five medals: one gold, two silver, and two bronze.
