A new governor has been appointed for the Baghdad district of Uzbekistan's Fergana region. Khodzhikozizhon Isakov has been named to the post.
According to the regional administration's press service, Isakov previously headed specialized mechanized column No. 426 in the Fergana region.
He replaces Ghanizhon Soliev, who had led the district administration since February 2024. Prior to his appointment as governor, Soliev worked as an assistant to the head of administration in the Khodzhakishlok mahalla of the same district.
The official statement did not specify the former official's new place of work.
