A 23-year-old man in Tashkent has been held accountable for jumping onto the road and blocking traffic while intoxicated, Podrobno.uz reports.

According to the Main Internal Affairs Department, the incident occurred on the night of May 8 on the Tashkent Ring Road in the Almazar district. The man ran onto the roadway and, waving a belt, aggressively prevented cars from passing. Witness video quickly spread on social media.

Officers from the Almazar District Internal Affairs Department identified the offender and issued an administrative protocol for petty hooliganism. The case has been submitted to the district criminal court for a decision.

Earlier, a video circulated on social media showing a man and woman entering the entrance of a residential building in Tashkent and, according to preliminary data, using prohibited substances. The footage caused widespread resonance among users. Law enforcement responded promptly and took appropriate measures.
