Twenty Uzbek nationals deported from Sweden for violating migration laws have arrived at Tashkent International Airport on a charter flight, the Dunyo news agency reports.
They were returned to their homeland as a result of coordinated cooperation between the authorized bodies of Uzbekistan and Sweden. Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, all organizational and legal procedures, including identification of citizens, paperwork, and ensuring safe transportation, were promptly agreed upon.
It is worth recalling that in February, 21 Uzbek citizens were also returned from Sweden via a charter flight. They had entered the country illegally and failed to comply with migration regulations.
Earlier, Japan deported another Uzbek citizen who had arrived on a short-term business visa and overstayed illegally.
